Geophysical services

The Irkutsk Electroprospecting Company offer geophysical services to explore geological structure through all stages of geological works:
Regional exploration is performed with reference geophysical profiles/lines extending for some hundred kilometers. It includes: investigation of the structure of sedimentary cover, crystalline basement, regional distribution of reservoirs, assessment of the features of oil-gas-generating formations and tectonic settings, mapping of the districts promising for oil and gas occurrence.
Survey with profile networks within licensed districts consists of: locating the intervals of reservoir development at all structural stages, forecasting the sites for placing deep wells, hydrocarbon prospecting, physical-geological modeling of the promising sites, detecting zones of anomalous values of electric conductivity and structural elements.
3-D measurements include: surveying the designed sites for deep well placement, recognizing local heterogeneities of the section, zones of anomalously high formation pressure, defining the distribution of reservoirs and assessing their saturation, forecasting conditions for well drilling. 
Monitoring implies investigation of the dynamics of geological section variation, measurement of reservoir parameters of horizons in time (4D-examination) based on electromagnetic sounding results conducted with time difference.
Exploration of ore includes: prospecting, exploration, delineating of ore occurrences and deposits by direct current methods primarily in summer time, non-stationary electromagnetic sounding with ungrounded sources and receivers of electromagnetic field.
Engineering geology, hydrogeology and geo-ecological investigations. It is feasible to apply both classical technologies of electric survey to approach the problems of the subjects named, and new techniques providing top quality results. Application of recording systems with enhanced spatial-temporal density of observations and effective mathematical algorithms of noise suppression provide opportunity for surveys to be conducted in different territories, industrial and cultural regions included.
Important experience has been gained in geological analysis of data of electric survey and integration with the results acquired by some other geophysical methods.
